Beginners Courses

If you have no prior nail qualifications then one of our beginner’s courses is the place for you to start. This range of courses explores many aspects designed to help and encourage budding nail technicians. They include everything from basic salon health & safety to client consultation and product application. To enrol on these courses you require nothing more than an enthusiastic interest in the ever growing nail industry.

This course runs over 3 consecutive days, with a forth day held two weeks later. We start the course with the basics of hand & nail anatomy and how to identify treatable and untreatable conditions concerning the hands and nails. We then progress to basic salon health and safety, learning key aspects of how to maintain good hygiene levels and why it is so important, followed by client consultation, product knowledge, exploring safe use guild lines and product application. Extensive demos and a great amount of hands on practise ensure students leave with maximum confidence levels. In order to successfully pass this course students must obtain a minimum practical achievement level of 80% and a theory achievement level of 85%. If students do not reach the necessary standards in either assessment aspect, we offer first retakes completely free of charge. Days run from 10am until 4pm, with a lunch break of up to an hour. A model is required on day 3 and day 4. No previous qualifications are necessary to enrol on this course, we simply ask you bring along bundles of enthusiasm. The price includes 4 days of tuition, a student manual, certificate and a large acrylic kit.

We then progress to basic salon health and safety, learning key aspects of hygiene levels and client consultation, discussing why it is important. We then explore manicure as a treatment and look into its benefits. Extensive demos and a great amount of hands on practise ensures students leave with maximum confidence levels. In order to successfully pass this course students must obtain a minimum practical achievement level of 80% and a theory achievement level of 85%. If students do not reach the necessary standards in either assessment aspect we offer first retakes completely free of charge. Days run from 10am until 4pm, with a lunch break of up to an hour. We then explore pedicure as a treatment and look into its benefits. Extensive demos and a great amount of hands on practise ensure students leave with maximum confidence levels. In order to successfully pass this course students must obtain a minimum practical achievement level of 80% and a theory achievement level of 85%. If students do not reach the necessary standards in either assessment aspect we offer first retakes completely free of charge. Days run from 10am until 4pm, with a lunch break of up to an hour. Our nail art course is a full 1-day workshop. The day incorporates product descriptions, demos and free hand work. Nail foils, stencils, rub-on decals, glitter dust, coloured acrylic and swarovski crystals are just some forms of nail art medium used on our nail art days. Students complete this day full of confidence and leave with many ideas to take to their customers. The days run from 10am until 4pm, with a lunch break of up to an hour. A model is ideally required to work on during the day. The price includes 1 day of tuition, a manual and certificates. A range of kits are available to buy.


£85.00 inclusive of VAT

Any further training required on any of these courses is charged at £75.00 per day and is dependant on each student and the amount of extra tuition/testing required. We must stress that 98% of students pass our courses with ease and do not require any extra tuition.
